On Tuesday, the National Weather Service issued a dense fog advisory for interior valleys in the North Bay. Visibility reductions of a quarter mile or less are possible.
“Travel carefully and prepare for sudden visibility changes,” the advisory stated.
Forecasters also said higher than expected tides could cause minor costal flooding in areas adjacent to San Francisco Bay, potentially impacting roadways, trails and beaches.
The fog advisory runs through 10 a.m. Wednesday and the flooding advisory runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
