Their work is funded in part by $365,000 health care provider Kaiser Permanente gave the nonprofit to provide 540,000 meals as the food bank launches its annual 3 Million Meals challenge.
“Through community partnerships, including the Food Bank of Contra Costa and Solano,” the health care provider wrote in a release, “Kaiser Permanente is addressing the health and well-being of the communities we serve by increasing access to nutritious food and fighting food insecurity.”
