Person injured in Daly City shooting remains in critical condition, police say

DALY CITY – A man was in critical condition Thursday following a shooting in the Daly City neighborhood of Bayshore Heights on Wednesday, according to authorities.

Police received reports of a shooting around 4:35 p.m. Wednesday in the area of MacDonald Avenue and Schwerin Street, near Bayshore Elementary School. Upon arrival, police found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

First responders provided medical care to the man and transported him to a hospital, where he remained in critical condition as of midday Thursday.
