San Mateo police are investigating a traffic fatality in San Carlos, which occurred around 7 a.m. Sunday morning at El Camino Real and Belmont Avenue.
Police are not yet releasing any other information on the incident, and El Camino Real is currently closed to traffic. As of 8:45 Sunday morning, the coroner was not yet on the scene.
There is no estimated timeline on re-opening the road, said Sgt. Javier Acosta, the police department’s public information officer.
