Taco Bell is getting the new year off to a cheesy start with six new items on its Cravings Value Menu.
The change will occur on Thursday, Jan. 11, with new items priced around $1.99-$2.99, according to a news release.
Among them is an item similar to the Double Decker Taco that the Irvine-based chain brought back as a fan favorite for a limited time in December.
The Double Stacked Taco will feature a soft tortilla slathered with nacho cheese sauce wrapped around a crunchy shell filled with beef, grated cheese and tri-colored tortilla strips.

Four vegetarian items will remain on the value menu: the Cheesy Roll Up, the Spicy Potato Soft Taco, the Cheesy Bean & Rice Burrito and Cheesy Fiesta Potatoes.
Also on Thursday, Taco Bell will permanently add a Veggie Build-Your-Own-Cravings Box to its menu. It will cost $5.99 through Taco Bell’s app or its website, the news release said.
