Campolindo seemed to have things under control as the fourth quarter started Thursday night, leading host Clayton Valley by seven points.
Elijah Perryman and his Ugly Eagles teammates had other ideas.
They staged a late-game charge, outscoring Campo 21-5 down the stretch to prevail in a matchup between Diablo Athletic League contenders.
Perryman led the way with 25 points as Clayton Valley improved to 12-4 overall and 3-0 in the league.
Campo, which has won four in a row and 12 of its previous 13, fell to 14-4, 3-1.
Gavin Rendle (14 points) and Dylan Mansour (10 points) were the visitor’s top scorers.
Moreau Catholic 80, Kennedy-Fremont 40
Moreau overpowered host Kennedy to even its overall record at 7-7 while staying undefeated in the Mission Valley Athletic League.
Jalen Arnold finished with 12 points and Kevin Chapman and Andrew Placido added 10 points each to lead Moreau, which improved to 4-0 in league play.
Kennedy is 8-9, 3-2.
Girls basketball
No. 20 Salesian 49, No. 15 St. Patrick-St. Vincent 47
Salesian stretched its winning streak to five games and improved to 7-7 overall and 3-0 in the Tri-Country Athletic League’s Rock Division with a nail-biting victory at St. Patrick-St. Vincent.
Madalyn Kanazawa finished with 12 points, five assists, four rebounds and three steals and Jamia Sawyer added 11 points and eight rebounds to lead the Pride.
Salesian also got eight points and nine rebounds from Janiya Saywer and nine points from Ayla Rege.
Marissa Elizalde scored 22 points for SPSV, which dropped to 12-4, 3-1.
Christopher 58, Leland 41
Christopher prevailed on the road over Leland in Blossom Valley Athletic League Mt. Hamilton Division play, bouncing back from a tough loss to Branham on Tuesday.
Nat Javier had 19 points to lead the way. Christopher also had 11 points from Alyssa Lopez and eight from Kaycee Carrasco.
Andri Wilkinson (17 points) and Saanvi Gunukula (nine points) were Leland’s top scorers.
Christopher improved to 15-1, 1-1. The Chargers slipped to 9-5, 0-2.

Senior center Karena Eberts had 33 points to lead Miramonte to a victory at home over Concord in a DAL game. The Mats improved to 9-8, 4-0. Concord is 4-10, 0-5.
