NORTH FAIR OAKS — A 23-year-old Redwood City man was arrested in connection with a knife attack Thursday night in North Fair Oaks, authorities said.

FAA report reveals two people were killed in Half Moon Bay plane crash on Sunday

The incident happened around 9:50 p.m. at a residence in the 500 block of Oakside Avenue, San Mateo County sheriff’s Sgt. Alfredo Gudino said in a news release.

The suspect threatened to kill the victim and tried to stab him with a knife, Gudino said.

The victim defended himself and was not injured, Gudino said.

Deputies detained the suspect at the scene. He was treated for minor injuries at a hospital and later booked into the Maguire Correctional Facility in Redwood City on charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats.
