SAN JOSE — Police are investigating a deadly stabbing that took place in San Jose on Sunday afternoon, according to authorities.
Police responded to a report of a stabbing on the 1500 block of Almaden Expressway at about 4:24 p.m. Officers found a man suffering from at least one stab wound, police said. He was transported to a hospital, where he later died.
He was yet to be identified by the Santa Clara County Office of the Medical Examiner-Coroner as of Monday morning.

No other details, including any information about a potential suspect, was immediately made available. Police were investigating the death as a homicide, San Jose’s fourth of 2024.
