Antioch police officers made the grim discovery around 11:15 a.m. Sunday near the 5700 block of Slatten Ranch Road.

Foul play was “conclusively ruled out” following an autopsy, Sgt. Kristian Palma said in a news release Monday. The exact cause of death, however, remains undetermined.

The person’s name is being withheld pending notification of next of kin, according to police.
