EL CERRITO — A man who was hit and killed by a BART train last week has been identified by authorities.

Sonny Jones-Lathan, 32, of San Pablo, was struck by the train about 6 p.m. on May 15 at the El Cerrito del Norte Station. He died at the scene.
The collision closed the station for about an hour.
