HALF MOON BAY — Firefighters and emergency personnel are responding to a report of a small-plane crash Tuesday afternoon near Half Moon Bay, authorities said.
The Coastside Fire Protection District has sent units to a location south of the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in the area of Miramontes Point Road after they were alerted to a “small aircraft down,” according to emergency dispatchers.
A search-and-rescue team was among the personnel sent to the reported crash site.
Additional information, including any injuries and the plane’s flight path, were not immediately available Tuesday afternoon.
