A “physical altercation” was reported at 1:44 p.m. May 15 at a residence on the 700 block of Post Street, the police said. Officers found a woman with multiple stab wounds; she was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 33-year-old San Francisco woman was detained at the scene and later arrested on suspicion of the killing.

Police did not identify the victim, but a social media post by the SF LGBT Center said she was 25-year-old Michelle Henry, who partipated in a youth program at the center.
