A man was fatally shot early Thursday in South San Jose, police said.

The shooting was reported at 4:49 a.m. Thursday on Liska Lane, near the Kaiser Permanente San Jose Medical Center.

When police arrived, they found the victim with at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

No other information about the shooting has been released.
