Thief admits to crime after literally being called on it

Oct. 7

8:41 p.m. in the 1300 block of Camden Avenue: A man punched the victim in the face after he thought his order was taking too long.

11:25 p.m. at Hamilton Avenue and Creekside Way: A man, 41, was stopped for a vehicle code violation. His passengers, a man, 43, and a woman, 29, were on probation. During a search of the car, meth, heroine, IDs not belonging to the suspects and paraphernalia were located. The driver was found to be under the influence.

11:39 a.m. in the 300 block of Dunster: During an argument, a woman, 41, placed her hands on the victim in an attempt to prevent him from leaving.

8:20 p.m. in the 400 block of East Hamilton Avenue: A woman, 57, walked out of a store with merchandise that she did not pay for.

1:41 a.m. at Winchester Boulevard and Hamilton Avenue: A man, 26, was stopped for a vehicle code violation and found to be DUI.

8 p.m. in the 400 block of East Hamilton Avenue: A man, 45, concealed merchandise while a woman, 39, stood by as a lookout. He left the store without paying.

Oct. 10

11:03 a.m. in the 1900 block of East Hamilton Avenue: A man, 33, displayed the signs and symptoms of being under the influence of a controlled substance. He was in possession of a meth pipe.

6:14 p.m. in the 1500 block of West Campbell Avenue: Two suspects were shoplifting, and when confronted by the victim, one suspect pushed them to the ground. The other suspect, a woman, 42, was arrested.

3:25 a.m. in the 1100 block of West Hamilton Avenue: A neighbor called in a domestic violence incident. A man, 26, became uncooperative during the investigation and resisted.

3:49 a.m. in the 100 block of East Sunnyoaks Avenue: Someone forced entry into a storage building by ramming the roll up door.

Oct. 11

11:35 p.m. at White Oaks Road and Camden Avenue: A driver, 48, collided with the center median. They were found to be driving under the influence of an alcoholic beverage and arrested.

11 16 a.m. in the 00 block of West Campbell Avenue: Someone stole items and was later contacted via telephone and admitted to it.

Noon in the 2500 block of South Winchester Boulevard: Three suspects were involved in a physical fight with the victim after an argument. One suspect brandished a knife during the fight.
