Kristin Cavallari breaks silence on ex Jay Cutler’s DUI arrest

Kristin Cavallari has broken her silence on her ex-husband Jay Cutler’s widely publicized arrest last week for DUI and gun possession.

The MTV alum, 37, began Tuesday’s episode of her “Let’s Be Honest” podcast with what she says will be her only remarks about the “very public incident.”

“Really quickly, just before we get into the episode, I wanted to hop on here to just let you guys know that this episode was recorded right before a very public incident happened last week with my ex-husband,” said the former “Laguna Beach” and “Hills” star.

“So just keep that in mind as you’re listening. I will not be commenting on what happened,” said Cavallari. “I do of course wish Jay nothing but the best and I do hope that he gets the help that he needs. But that’s the only thing I will be saying about it publicly.”

The former Bears and Broncos quarterback, 51, currently faces multiple charges — including DUI and possession of a handgun under the influence — for a Tennessee car accident Thursday, after which he allegedly tried bribing the other driver $2,000 not to call the cops. Cutler was released on $5,000 bail that night.

Cavallari and Cutler, who share three children, tied the knot in 2013 and announced in 2020 that they would be divorcing. They filed the following day, with Cavallari citing “irreconcilable differences” and “inappropriate marital conduct” as the basis of the couple’s split.
