Two very different films that may well figure in Hollywood’s awards season open in theaters this weekend, a papal thriller (yes, we used “papal” and “thriller” in the same sentence) and a sexy (R-rated) rom-com. We strongly recommend seeing both, but maybe not back-to-back.
