PALO ALTO — A gas line break in Palo Alto closed a section of University Avenue in both directions, according to a police department press release.
The gas line break occurred on the 800 block of University Avenue, closing the street in both directions between Seneca Street and Guinda Street. Police notified the public about the incident at about 11:45 a.m. Thursday.
There is no estimated time of reopening, so police advised people to take an alternate route.
