DUI: 10:28 a.m. San Tomas Expressway and West Campbell Avenue. A driver was stopped for a vehicle code violation. They displayed objective symptoms of being under the influence of alcohol and failed to complete field sobriety tests. The driver was placed under arrest.
POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 1:44 p.m. San Tomas Expressway and Budd Avenue. A passenger in a vehicle stop was in possession of multiple kinds of suspected narcotics and drug paraphernalia.
GRAND THEFT: 9:20 a.m. in the 100 block of Cristich Lane. Someone stole approximately $1,000 worth of plumbing fixtures.
Feb. 20
ATTEMPTED VEHICLE THEFT: 4:55 a.m. in the 100 block of Hardy Avenue. Three suspects entered a vehicle by breaking the door lock. The suspects damaged the ignition in an attempt to steal the vehicle, then fled the scene.
BURGLARY: 6 p.m. in the 1000 block of Walnut Drive. Someone entered an unlocked residence, forced entry into a locked bedroom and stole approximately $3,000 in cash and $2,000 worth of cologne.
DUI: 10:08 p.m. Curtner and South Bascom avenues. A man was stopped for a moving violation and was found to be DUI for alcohol.
Feb. 21
BURGLARY: North Third Street and Watson Drive.: Someone burglarized a Chevrolet Silverado and shattered the left rear window.
Feb. 23
ARSON, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: 11:53 a.m. in the 300 block of East Campbell Avenue. A man started a fire in the bathroom of a business during business hours. He was also in possession of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
GRAND THEFT: 6:40 p.m. in the 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue. Two suspects stole approximately $13,000 worth of merchandise.
TRESPASSING, BATTERY: 6:01 p.m. in the 00 block of South San Tomas Aquino Road. The suspect got into an argument and assaulted a store employee by swatting their hand down. The suspect refused to leave the property after being admonished and was placed under arrest for trespassing.
Feb. 24
DISORDERLY CONDUCT: 3:11 a.m. in the 500 block of West Sunnyoaks Avenue. The victim saw two suspects steal a cover off of his neighbor’s vehicle. The victim shined a light at the suspects, and they threw a rock at his house. The victim desired prosecution for prowling.
DUI: 12:27 a.m. South Bascom Avenue and Dry Creek Road. A man was stopped for vehicle code violations and was found to be DUI.
PETTY THEFT: 3:15 p.m. in the 500 block of East Hamilton Avenue. A woman entered an open business and placed merchandise in her handbag. She paid her remaining balance of her credit card and did not pay for the items in her bag, valued at $110.83.
PETTY THEFT: 8:17 a.m. in the 1500 block of West Campbell Avenue. The suspect jumped over the counter and stole $92 worth of cigarettes, then fled the area on a bicycle.
VANDALISM: 10:12 p.m. in the 1500 block of South Bascom Avenue The suspect threw a lighter at a vehicle’s windshield, causing less than $400 in damage.
UNAUTHORIZED PAPER MONEY: 8:44 p.m. in the 200 block of East Campbell Avenue. A man used a fake $100 bill to purchase food. He had several fake $100 bills in his possession.
Feb. 25
FEDERAL OFFENSE, POSSESSION OF A CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE AND PARAPHERNALIA: 4:04 p.m. in the 600 block of Creekside Way. A man was in possession of meth, crack cocaine and glass smoking pipes. He used another name to conceal his felony federal warrant for robbery.

A man fled from officers during a pedestrian stop and was later apprehended. He hit an officer while resisting arrest. He was in possession of a burglary tool and methamphetamine. He had another person’s personal ID information and has prior convictions for identity theft. He was also under the influence of a controlled substance.
