Prince Harry’s wild 2012 trip to Las Vegas — when he and his army mates played strip pool with a group of “blackjack girls” before his second deployment to Afghanistan — may be coming back to haunt him, just as he predicted.
A former dominatrix and model, who said she partied with the Duke of Sussex in Las Vegas, has threatened to publish nude photos of him on her OnlyFans page, The Sun reported. “I have some nice pictures of him in the buff,” Carrie Royale told The Sun about the notorious episode.
Secretly snapped nude photos of Harry in Vegas almost immediately made their way to the front pages of the U.K. tabloids in 2012. In his 2023 memoir “Spare,” Harry said that his “shame and guilt” over the incident made it difficult for him “to draw a clean breath.”
In fact, Harry’s memoir “Spare” is the reason, Royale said, that she’s motivated to release the photos. She told The Sun that she’s miffed that he didn’t mention her in any specific way in the book.
“I’m a little angry about being whitewashed from his book,” Royale told The Sun. “I mean . . . wow. He missed a lot of things from that night.
“I am surprised he remembers anyone’s name because he was pretty intoxicated, but he could have talked about the few things that happened between us,” continued Royale, who claims that she kissed Harry in a “drunken fumble.”
But perhaps Royale wouldn’t have wanted Harry to say anything to specific about her, given the way he wrote in “Spare” about the “dodgy” women he and his friends partied with that night.
In the Las Vegas chapter of his memoir, Harry wrote how he and his army friends decided to splurge on a trip to Sin City before shipping out to fight in the war in Afghanistan. He wrote that the then-27-old Lt. Wales and his friends rented a palatial, two-story suite at the Wynn Hotel. On their second day, they spent the afternoon drinking at a big “blowout” party by the pool. They headed to a club that night, where they met “a procession of young women.” Harry, though, claims he wasn’t that interested in the women because he was in a relationship with Cressida Bonas.
At 2 a.m. Harry, his friends and a group of four or five women who worked at the hotel headed back to their suite to continue the party. He said they all began playing pool. Harry thought the women looked “dodgy” but still suggested they “up the stakes” by playing “strip pool.”
“Ten minutes later I was the big loser, reduced to my skivvies,” Harry wrote in “Spare.” “Then I lost my skivvies. It was harmless, silly, or so I thought.”
It turns out that one of the “blackjack girls” secretly snapped some photos of a nude Harry and sold them to the tabloids, he wrote.
“I berated myself: How had I let it happen?” Harry also wrote. “How had I been so stupid? Why had I trusted other people? I’d counted on strangers having goodwill, I’d counted on those dodgy girls showing some basic decency, and now I was going to pay the price forever. These photos would never go away. They were permanent.”
While Harry received ribbing in the tabloids for being “Prince Thicko,” his father, the future King Charles III, was “gentle,” and even “bemused” by the scandal, he wrote. When they met at Charles’ home near Balmoral Castle, “We sat by a window and talked for quite a long time about this strange existence of ours.”
Twelve years later, Royale justifies her threat to release Harry’s nude photos by saying they’re a reminder of when Princess Diana’s younger son was “so crazy, fun-loving and spontaneous.”
“Where did that go?” Royale said to The Sun, before offering the view that his wife, Meghan Markle, “sucked the life out of him.”
Royale, who said she quit work as a dominatrix and now runs a film production company, also suggested that she wasn’t one of the women who sold photos to the tabloids in 2012. For one thing, she told The Sun, she has never “released these pictures before out of respect.”
For another thing, she said she joined the party in the suite after it already was in progress, at the invitation of a man who worked at the hotel. She said she joined strippers “who were already naked” and took pictures on her phone.
“I will be posting a lot more than what the public knows,” said Royale, who admitted that she expects a big pay day by posting the photos.
But in the end, Royale may not have the option to publish Harry’s photos on her OnlyFans page, according to The Sun. A spokesperson for OnlyFans told The Sun that she would need “consent” — presumably from Harry — to post the photos on the platform.
