Saratoga baseball player Aiden Chen is the Bay Area News Group’s boys athlete of the week for Feb. 26 to March 2.
In online voting that ended at 5 p.m. Wednesday, Chen had 40.65% to finish ahead of Archbishop Mitty soccer player Guiseppe Sigala, who was second at 37.91%.
Congratulations to all the candidates for this week’s recognition.
Chen, a junior, pitched a no-hitter in a 6-0 win over Monta Vista. He struck out 17 batters and was 3 for 6 at the plate with a triple.
