MORGAN HILL – A youth has been arrested on suspicion of threatening the lives of community members at a facility operated by the city of Morgan Hill, police said.

In a news release Tuesday, the Morgan Hill Police Department said it received a tip a day earlier detailing the threat. They did not name the facility or disclose the exact nature of the threat.
Detectives investigated the case with assistance from the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office and the U.S. Secret Service. Officers were also assigned to watch over the facility.
On Tuesday, detectives concluded the threat was not credible and there was no threat to the community, police said.
Police did not identify the suspect because of their age.
