FREMONT — A three-alarm fire early Friday ripped through a commercial building, fire officials said.

The overnight fire in the 49000 block of Milmont Drive sent flames and smoke through the roof of the building, and crews fought the blaze from the the outside, according to social media posts from the Fremont Fire Department.
Crews knocked down the blaze in about 90 minutes and did not allow the fire to spread.
There were no reports of injuries.
The cause of the fire was not known immediately. Crews were investigating. Crews remained at the scene past sunrise to monitor hot spots and finish cleaning up.
