SAN JOSE – Firefighters on Monday night were battling a three-alarm blaze at a Buddhist temple in San Jose.

The fire was reported around 5:50 p.m. at Chua Duyen Giac, located at 97 Foss Ave.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
Four residents were displaced as a result of the fire, the San Jose Fire Department said in a social media post.
As of 8:10 p.m., crews were making “good progress,” but had not managed to knock down the fire. Firefighters kept the flames from spreading to adjacent buildings.
