San Mateo: Three arrested in connection with December robbery

Two people were standing outside an ARCO gas station in the 1800 block of Woodside Road around 4:15 p.m. when two men approached them and robbed them of their belongings, the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.

The men made criminal threats and displayed a handgun during the robbery, according to the sheriff’s office.

No injuries were reported.

The sheriff’s office described the men as being in their early 20s and having long hair. One had a small mustache.

The men were last seen heading toward Santa Clara Avenue.

The sheriff’s office said the robbery is being investigated as an “isolated incident.”
