OAKLAND — An 18-year-old man shot multiple times May 20 at a motel has died, authorities said Wednesday.
The name of the man, who died Saturday afternoon at a hospital, was not immediately released. Police said he was a San Francisco resident.
A motive for the shooting was not released and police did not announce any arrests.

The man was shot multiple times just before 10 p.m. May 20 in a room at the Nights Inn, 874 West MacArthur Blvd.
The man had gone to the motel to meet some people but police have not said for what reason. The occupants of the room fled before police got to the motel.
The motel was the scene of another fatal shooting March 21, when a 28-year-old man was killed in a room. A suspect has been arrested and charged in that case. Police said the two killings are not related.
