Bon Jovi was asked about the wedding rumors during an appearance on the BBC’s “The One Show” on Tuesday.
“It was a very small family wedding, and the bride looked gorgeous, and Jake is happy as can be,” he said.
Brown, 20, is best known for her role in Netflix’s “Stranger Things.” Bongiovi (who uses the original spelling of his father’s last name) is 22 and an actor and model.
The couple first shared news of their engagement in April 2023. In an appearance this year on “The Tonight Show” with Jimmy Fallon, Brown said the pair bonded over their love of scuba-diving and that her fiance proposed underwater.
Bon Jovi addressed the couple’s youth last year on SiriusXM’s “Andy Cohen Live.”
“I don’t know if age matters,” he said. “You know, if you find the right partner and you grow together, I think that would be my advice, really: Growing together is wise.”
Bon Jovi, 62, has been married since 1989 to Dorothea Hurley, who he has said was his high school sweetheart. They have four adult children.
