OAKLAND – Four people were injured in a shooting Wednesday night near Lake Merritt in Oakland, according to authorities.

The shooting happened near Grand and Euclid avenues.
The victims were taken to an area hospital. An update on their condition was not immediately available.
Four others were also taken to a hospital with unspecified injuries, authorities said.
