Robbery: At 7:45 a.m. on May 21, the suspect entered Saratoga Bottle Shop on Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road and stole merchandise. An employee confronted the suspect, who attempted to punch the victim before fleeing the scene. At 10:47 p.m. on June 10, deputies responded to the store on report of the same suspect returning. The suspect was arrested and booked into main jail.

Public intoxication: At 9:12 p.m., deputies conducted a welfare check of a pedestrian at Saratoga and Herriman avenues. An investigation revealed the suspect was unable to care for himself due to being under the influence of alcohol. The suspect was cited and released and then transported to the hospital for medical evaluation.

June 12

Possession of a stolen vehicle: At 4:12 p.m., deputies responded to an automated license plate reader notification for a stolen vehicle at Bellgrove Circle and Saratoga Avenue. An investigation revealed the vehicle was stolen from San Francisco and was still outstanding. Deputies located the vehicle unoccupied, parked at Congress Springs Park on Glen Brae Drive. The suspect was located nearby, in possession of a key for the stolen vehicle. The suspect admitted to stealing the vehicle and was subsequently arrested and booked into main jail.

June 14

Grand theft, vandalism: Between 4 p.m. on June 13 and 6 a.m. on June 14, someone stole a stainless steel cabinet and broke a window at an office under construction in the 19000 block of Cox Avenue for a total loss of about $4,500.

Vandalism: At 4 a.m., someone broke the mailbox of a residence in the 19000 block of Eric Drive. The total amount of damage was estimated at $100.
