SAN JOSE — A driver died in a single-car crash on the southern edge of San Jose on Monday morning, police said.

A 911 caller reported an overturned vehicle at Santa Teresa Boulevard and Bailey Avenue around 8:25 a.m., according to San Jose police.
Police officers and medics went to the location, where the driver, described only as a man, was pronounced dead.
Additional details were not immediately released. Authorities closed Santa Teresa Boulevard between Bailey and Laguna avenues to allow investigators to examine the site.
The crash marked the city’s 21st traffic death of the year.
