Fireworks by San Jose Giants: July 3-4, San Jose. This year, the San Jose Giants will celebrate Fourth of July with two days of spectacular pyrotechnic displays. The fireworks will go off after the Giants game on July 3 and the Matt Stell concert on July 4. For the July 4 show, sections of Alma Avenue will be closed so people can watch without having to buy a ticket.

Fireworks at the Marin County Fair: 9:30 p.m. July 3-7, 10 Avenue of the Flags, San Rafael. The Marin County Fair will host nightly fireworks shot from three barges over the lagoon in a low-level, choreographed extravaganza of music, rockets, Roman candles, comets, meteoric showers and spectacular bursting cascades — all reflected in the water below.
