According to the California Highway Patrol, Redwood City units responded to reports of a two-vehicle crash at about 2 p.m. on Skyline Boulevard near Page Mill Road.

A preliminary investigation determined that a Toyota Corolla struck a dirt embankment on the shoulder, then crossed into oncoming traffic and collided with the Cybertruck.

The driver of the Tesla sustained a minor injury but declined medical transportation. No other injuries were reported.

The CHP said the Cybertruck did not appear to be operated in autonomous mode.

The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
