SAN FRANCISCO — Fans cried out in a chorus of boos for the Warriors’ second straight blowout loss, this one 141-105 to the New Orleans Pelicans on Wednesday night to close out a 2-5 homestand. The Warriors move to 17-20 with more flaws on the roster than visible solutions.
The Warriors gave up 73 points with New Orleans hitting 13 3s in the first half alone. It was the third time in the last four games the Warriors allowed at least 70 points in a half. The Pelicans led by as many as 41 points, it was the second straight game a Warriors opponent handed them their largest deficit following the Toronto Raptors’ 27-point lead and win on Sunday.
Golden State has been a mess without Chris Paul, out at least three weeks after undergoing hand surgery, and Draymond Green, who is ramping up conditioning after a three-week suspension. Steph Curry struggled again with 15 points shooting 4-of-13 from the field. Moses Moody was a bright spot with a team-high 21 points on 8-of-18 shooting, including four 3s.

The Warriors next head on a four-game road trip. The first stop is a back-to-back against the Chicago Bulls and Milwaukee Bucks before heading to Memphis to play the Grizzlies, who are now without Ja Morant. They close the road trip in Salt Lake City to take on the Jazz.
