Trail detours
Officials are encouraging people to use detours on the Los Gatos Creek Trail this fall as Valley Water works on repairs to the Vasona Dam.
The repair work will be ongoing through Nov. 22, as Valley Water crews replace a deteriorated portion of a retaining wall of the Vasona Dam. The utility is asking trail users to take a detour through Arroyo Grande Way before rejoining the trail.

Makers Market
A free craft fair is set for Saturday, Nov. 2, 11 a.m.-5 p.m., in Old Town Los Gatos.

A ribbon cutting for the opening of LA ViE MD Med Spa’s new location in Los Gatos is set for Nov. 6 at 5 p.m. at 652 N. Santa Cruz Ave., Suite A. The event will feature food and drink, and Mayor Mary Badame will be there to cut the ribbon.
