Travis Kelce confirmed he and Taylor Swift are a couple of “absolutely happy” lovers in the wake of debunked speculation they were heading for a split.
The reigning Super Bowl champ, 35, remarked on the headline-making romance while interviewing his “Grotesquerie” co-star Niecy Nash-Betts on Wednesday’s episode of the “New Heights” podcast he co-hosts with big brother Jason.
Emmy-winning Nash-Betts, 54, said she now regularly fields calls from friends and press alike about the tight end’s relationship with 34-year-old Swift.
“I appreciate you always,” Kelce told Nash-Betts. “Every time someone that has a mic in front of you always asks you something like that, thank you for always showing up. You know it’s real, and you know that me and Tay are absolutely happy.”
Kelce’s comments come on the heels of Stevie Nicks’ Rolling Stone interview last week, in which the two-time Rock & Roll Hall of Fame inductee weighed in on the widely publicized romance.
“She is really smart, but she also went through a lot before,” Nicks said. “She’s in a good place right now, and I think she has a good man. I hope they fall deeper and deeper in love and ride off into the sunset. He does his thing and she does her thing, and then they come back together and get married and have babies if she wants that. I just want all of that for her.”
Swift and Kelce have been together since July 2023, shortly after her breakup from long-term boyfriend Joe Alwyn and interim fling with The 1975 frontman Matty Healy.
Swift has since supported Kelce at the majority of his Kansas City Chiefs games, including their Super Bowl win. He’s often attended her international Eras Tour shows, even making an onstage cameo at one of her star-studded London concerts in June.
