The 35-year-old Kansas City Chiefs tight end and his brother Jason Kelce were taking calls on a bonus episode of their podcast Wednesday. A man in his mid-50s called in to say that he was “going through a dry spell,” where his wife was not “interested in sex whatsoever.” He asked the NFL brothers for advice on how to get through it.
“I will personally mention that I have no idea what that’s (like),” Travis Kelce admitted, leading people to imagine that he and Swift enjoy a pretty healthy sex life after debuting their romance in the summer of 2023.
The Super Bowl winner offered: “Maybe just try to get some candles, get some rose petals, try and be a little romantic.”
“Maybe you just gotta rekindle that flame or something, get that thing going,” he continued. “Take her to a nice restaurant. These are all things that I would try and do just based off what I heard. That’s tough, man.”
Jason Kelce, retired from the NFL after playing for 13 years, admitted that the man’s situation was a “hard one” to tackle. Married since 2018 to Kylie Kelce, Jason told the caller he might have to play more of a “long game.”
“Start setting that thing up early,” he said. “Women, they’re weird. They don’t just always want to have sex.
“I don’t know why, they don’t operate on the same wavelength as us,” he added. “Women like to be sought after.”
Jason furthermore suggested that “acts of service” can also go a long way to setting the mood. He also joked that a tight pair of pants can get the job done.
“Sometimes they just want to see the goods. I don’t know what you’ve been blessed with,” Jason Kelce quipped. He also suggested watching a movie starring the wife’s celebrity crush to get her in the mood before Travis Kelce jumped in with another, more adventurous idea.
“Try role play one night, you know, see if she’s up for that,” Travis Kelce said. He then suggested the man visit what could be a favorite retailer for him and Swift: Spencer’s, an adult toy and sexual wellness store.
“Go to Spencer’s and get some (expletive) sex stuff, man, I don’t know,” Travis Kelce concluded.
