One killed, one wounded in Antioch shooting

ANTIOCH — A shooting Tuesday night left one man dead and another man with life threatening injuries, police said.

The men’s names and their relationship have not yet been released by police.

The shooting happened about 10:53 p.m. Tuesday on Bryan Avenue.

Responding officers found a 41-year-old man and a 59-year-old man, both Antioch residents,  suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Police have not yet said if the men lived on the block or elsewhere in Antioch.

Both men were taken to a hospital where the 41-year-old man died and the older man was being treated for life-threatening injuries, police said.

Police have not yet provided a motive for the shooting or any suspect information.  No arrests have been announced.
