OAKLAND — A 25-year-old man was shot multiple times Wednesday morning in East Oakland, authorities said.
He was transported to a hospital, where he was reported to be in stable condition.

The shooting happened about 8:30 a.m. Wednesday outside near the intersection of Havenscourt Boulevard and Flora Street, a residential neighborhood in the Havenscourt district.
Police have not yet said if the man lived in the area or elsewhere.
A motive for the shooting has not yet been determined. No arrests have been made.
