PLEASANT HILL — A 37-year-old man was found fatally stabbed Saturday morning in the main parking lot of Pleasant Hill Park, authorities said.

Santiago Jacobo, of Pittsburg, was found shortly before 5 a.m. near the park where he was working as janitorial staff late Friday night, according to a report from Pleasant Hill Police Captain Matt Kristic.

Police said Jacobo’s wife discovered him lying unconscious and unresponsive in the parking lot, located at 147 Gregory Lane after she became concerned when he did not return home after his shift ended. She called 911, and he later was pronounced dead at the scene.
