OAKLAND – Three people were injured in a robbery-turned-shooting Monday night in Oakland, police said.

The incident happened just after 9 p.m. in the 1200 block of Harrison Street, near Lake Merritt, according to the Oakland Police Department. Officers arrived to find one man suffering from at least one gunshot wound and a second man with minor scratches.
The shooting victim was taken to an area hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.
A third victim arrived at an area hospital a short time later and was also listed in stable condition, police said.
The shooting stemmed from a robbery, police said, adding that the suspects fled in a vehicle.
At the scene, officers recovered a loaded firearm, as well as bullets and a bullet casing.
