Police ID San Leandro man killed in Oakland triple shooting

OAKLAND — Police here have identified a 29-year-old man who was killed last month in a triple shooting on International Boulevard.

Rafael Ruiz-Solorio, of San Leandro, was shot and killed on the morning of Dec. 13, authorities said. Police haven’t announced any arrests nor publicly released the suspected motive in the killing.

The shooting was reported to police around 6:30 a.m. Dec. 14, on the 9900 block of International Boulevard in East Oakland. Officers responded and recovered multiple firearms at the scene, including one from Ruiz-Solorio, police said.

Later that morning, police learned of two other surviving victims believed to have been shot in the same incident. One of them was dropped off at a hospital, while another was located in an Oakland apartment, where police recovered another firearm, authorities said.
